December 23, 2006 -
Today is the big Double Overtink Session! Things will get kicked off at 4 PM ET or shortly thereafter - getting all the items to be tinkered and their salvage in order is something I am always especially careful of doing. Because of the timer on using a rare gem, time will be limited and I will be pounding out as many tinkers as I can. I'm confident I'll be able to get everything in, but I do want to be very careful about the setup.
The Quest Section has been updated with this month's new quests. I've finished a guide for Tracking Asheron, the big quest this month. Maps are still missing, but you should be able to figure out the dungeons without much trouble. This quest has the feel like it is flagging for something bigger, so I'd recommend you take your main characters through it when you have a chance. I've included spoiler info too if you don't feel like doing the lowbie section, but don't worry if you want to figure the puzzles! The answers are printed in 1 point font - I'd hide them in white text, but that doesn't exactly blend into the background image well.
Last, but not least, Merry Christmas to everyone! I will likely not be on after the Overtink until the 26th at the earliest, so if I don't see you earlier, have a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, a Kwazy Kwanzaa, a tip-top Tet and a solemn and dignified Ramadan (to borrow from Krusty the Clown).

Today's Patch Day! Check out the thread on the Forums for all the relevant patch info - teaser images, articles, and everything else. The Quest Section is also updated, but none of this month's quests are up just yet.
A big reminder to get your salvage in order for the double overtink on the 23rd! If you haven't done so already, you can see what percentages Kickem will offer when she uses her rares on this thread.

Apologies for my sporadic appearance ingame as of late. Real life has been conspiring against me as of late.
ACMaps is now back up and running, so I have removed the links to the PoA-hosted maps from the site. However, I have not removed the maps themselves or the database. All of the quest guides have their links pointed at local files and things will stay that way primarily because I don't want to be reliant on another site to keep this one running. It would also be a major undertaking to redirect every link back to ACMaps. That being said, if you find a misdirected map link, please let me know.
I think it's about time for another weapon and armor overtink session. If you are interested, please leave a post on this thread - I'd like to know whether to do the session on the 23rd or the 30th. Kickem's success rates won't have changed too much, so you can safely refer to the last overtink announcement for success rates.
