February 22, 2007 -
"Rekindling the Light" has gone live and there are some major changes! The biggest one is the new Coliseum, where you and your closest 8 friends fight round after round of nasty critters for XP. Clear all 18 levels in under an hour and you get incredible XP rewards and jewelry. There are also new craft-friendly golem pets and new developments on Bur. The quest section has been updated (a bit) to include the new changes. Be aware that the Floating City on Solclaim is broken, so if you want to do the Crafting Golem pet quest, you will need to find a portal directly into Golem Sanctum.

February's Patch, "Rekindling the Light," has been announced (more or less)! It's been tentatively slated for the 20th of February - have a look at the thread on the boards for more information. A few teaser images are out already, but not all of the fansites have either received or posted their images yet. It looks like we're going to be facing more Falatacot minions, so be on your toes! Also, if you haven't flagged yourself to visit Bur, you may want to do that sooner rather than later.
I've spruced up a couple quest guides with new information. What I'm missing most are the XP rewards and titles for the Burun Killing tasks on Bur. I foolishly didn't mark down the rewards I got for a couple of the rewards... woops!

The news from Turbine is that they are going to be selling extended plans to save you money. Check out THIS PAGE if you want to upgrade your current plan. You can switch to 3 month, 6 month, or 1 year plans to save $3, $12, or $36 respectively. Just be aware that it's a one-time charge and cannot be cancelled after you submit it. Also be aware that these plans don't auto-renew. You will have to submit this request each time your account's plan is about to revert to the old one month plans. I personally am going to set up a 3 month deal the next time my account is up for renewal.
I've made a couple miscellaneous updates to the site here and there, but you probably won't notice them. I have added some info on Bur that's new since my last news item.
