June 16, 2005 -
No less than an hour after I posted the news update, the mansion came free and I bought it! We finally have our home back. I am redecorating now (which is a surprisingly big task!). The portal devices are now on the first floor in the large SE room. If you would like storage access, please let me know. So far, only my characters have access, but I will be happy to let everyone use the chests.
This week's quests will be Sanctuary Recall at 1 PM ET, 10 AM PT and Niffis Fights at 3 PM ET, Noon PT. They are early to fit them in to the existing quest schedule. Sanctuary Recall has no level restriction, but you need to have a buffed jump skill of at least 250 to join. Niffis Fights is 80+. Both quests will be meeting in the Southwest room of Marketplace.

The vast majority of characters are under me now. Bren and I did eventually meet up and he is now underneath me. That means that every active player is now sworn under me. That leaves about 200 characters still sworn under Ja'afar, predominantly sworn somewhere under Samara or Open Wound. If you have a character that is still under Ja'afar, drop me a PM on the boards and we'll take care of it. Since Ja'afar, Samara, and Open Wound no longer play, it's unlikely that we will ever recover those people. As it stands, there are about 540 characters under me and I am a very stable rank 7.
Ja'afar still owns the mansion, but its rent will expire within the week, probably this weekend. I have June stationed by the mansion with the kit, so as soon as the mansion opens up, I will quickly buy it. Then we can finally use all of the mansion perks again!
I haven't set Allegiance Officers yet. If anyone has interest in becoming an officer, please let me know. Honestly, I don't ever expect that I will make officers a formal job as we self-police ourselves very nicely. However, if you are planning on running quests and would like to change the MotD, I would be happy to make you an officer.
Our first public quests went well, although the only PoA member (aside from me) met with a grisly end on the Refulgent quest - sorry Kenoki! I haven't decided what quests to run this weekend, but it will likely be Sanctuary Recall and Niffis Fights (as I found a gem the other day).

Sorry for the delay - was away for the holiday weekend.
Bren and
I are going to meet up Saturday afternoon to finish the restructuring. That will
take care of pretty much everyone who is still active. However, anyone sworn
under Ja'afar directly or sworn under Samara or Open Wound will still be
displaced. At the moment, there isn't any way to fix that problem. The MOTD for
people under Ja'afar still has the address of the website, so hopefully, if any
of them come back, they'll know where to look for answers.
The mansion is still in Ja'afar's hands and will likely remain there until rent
comes due, which is at some point June 18th or 19th. Fortunately, that's over a
weekend, so I won't have any trouble picking it up when rent expires. It's still
possible that the server will be restarted, in which case, Ja'afar's lack of
rank will release the mansion for me to grab. Those of you who are under me now
will likely have noticed that you can't mansion recall - I'm presently living in
an apartment (I moved June into my villa to expedite the moving process).
I'm looking to start some questing soon! I'll have something planned for next
weekend (6/11 and 6/12) - probably a writ quest and most likely Bracelet of Dark
Essence.
