It's time for another news update! After much discussion, PoA's leadership on Solclaim has changed. I have broken from under Ja'afar and am in the process of reorganizing the monarchy under me. So far, about half the monarchy has shifted, but everyone sworn under Brendan (Ci, Death Count) is still under Ja'afar and will need to be reabsorbed. Ideally, Ja'afar would have sworn to me, but that isn't a practical option. The mansion is still under Ja'afar's control and will remain so until either the server is taken down for maintenance or rent expires, which is slated for June 19th. I will be taking ownership as soon as either of those situations happen. In the interim, I have set my allegiance hometown as Zaikhal. The mansion is a short run from there.
In light of the changes, I will be updating the news page weekly to keep everyone abreast of what's going on. Simply changing monarchs isn't going to keep PoA afloat - we have a lot to do in order to keep our current membership happy and potentially draw in new people. As soon as the turmoil from the transition dies down, I will begin running quests again. Please watch the forums for specifics.
I am very much looking forward to my first stint as Monarch in AC!

I've been revamping the quest section to include many more images. Writing each quest up takes a long time, but getting the images is taking about three times as long for each guide. I'll no doubt have trouble finding an image of each item I want too, so I may eventually post a request list. I have no intention of being as thorough as Maggie's site, specifically I won't be bothering with lower level versions of quest items, but I'm still happy with what I've been doing so far. If you have any comments on the guides, please drop me a note.

I've continued to work on the quest section of the site lately, adding several new guides. I've also updated my tutorial a bit with a few scraps of new info.
Info about the Expansion - release is now scheduled for May 11th. In exchange for an earlier release, Turbine has reallocated the staff who make monthly patches to help with the expansion. As a result, there will be no monthly patches until June (not including the content released with the Expansion). There will be preorder rewards for those people who do reserve a copy. Each character on that account (and supposedly any character made on the account too) will receive two gems - one that raises health by 10% and one that raises armor by 50. The gems are never destroyed and can be used as often as necessary.
In more current news, I'm trying to run a writ-producing quest for the mansion weekly. The 3 Power Forges, the 4 Propylaeums, and the Hollow Lair by Lytelthorpe all produce writs, although the latter two are one-time-per-character rewards. Please check the MotD and the Forums for details. We currently have 6 months' worth of writs stocked.

Happy New Year (albeit very belated...)!
I've added several new write-ups to the Quest section (including the Blackmire quests), as well as adding to the guide to AC I wrote last year. Have a look!
