This quest is the shortest and the least interesting of all the Blackmire quests, in my opinion. You could even run through solo if you are fast enough, have a good connection, and know where you're going. You also won't be getting a piece of Ancient Armor either.
Step 1 - Preparation. Like Blackmire 4, this quest is located at the drop point from a previous Blackmire quest's portal. This time, you'll want to use the Izji Qo portal, which we have hooked on the left side of the patio. Alternatively, you can run from Fort Tethana. The drop point is safe and a good place to buff. Again, you'll be fighting Ruuk and Guruk Burun, so buff a frost weapon, bane physical and acid, and protect against all damage. When everyone is ready, run to the structure nearby (12.8S, 58.9W), run inside, and jump down the hole. Use the vine to enter the dungeon.
Step 2 - Entrance to Izji Qo's Temple. This first dungeon is very brief, but gives you a flavor for the quest. Instead of trials and Undead, this dungeon is utterly destroyed by the Burun invaders. Head to the Northeast from the drop and follow the path ahead to the three level restricted guardians. High to the left, mid-level in the middle, and low level to the right. Use the guardian to enter the next section.
Step 3 - Izji Qo's Test. This section, like all others, is a dungeon crawl. You could conceivably run through the whole quest, but you'd lose most of your party along the way. Your best bet is to fight through. There really is only one way through, so it's next to impossible to get lost. Take your first right and fight through several twisting corridors and winding large rooms and you will eventually come to a ledge. You can either jump and run to the Guardian in the north part of the room below, or you can have your mages imperil and then jump down and clear it. Either way works fine, but when you are done, use the Guardian to head into the next section.
Step 4 - Izji Qo's Defenders. Although the layout is different, this section is pretty much the same as the previous one. Kill as you work your way down into the dungeon. At the end, you will again be standing on a ledge overlooking a huge spawn of Burun. Again you can either run or fight - the spawn rate is fast and there are a lot of monsters, so running might not be a bad idea. Jump down and head to the north. As soon as you make it to the Guardian, use it.
Step 5 - Rewards. Unlike the 4 previous quests, this Blackmire quest only has one reward - fellowship spells.
Soothing Wind - Regeneration
Golden Wind - Rejuvenation
Endless Well - Mana Renewal
You'll also notice a Portal Device in the SW corner. That was part of a live event where very foolish adventurers allowed King Reeshan into Dereth. It doesn't work anymore, but is an interesting bit of historical lore.
