Tired of Tumeroks getting the upper hand against you?  Turn the tables and bring the fight to them with an Assault Weapon!  Each weapon class has an Assault variant and each weapon has the special property of 'Tumerok Slayer', meaning it does extra damage against Tumeroks - only the ones on the Mainland.  Aun and Hea Tumeroks are not vulnerable to these weapons.

To earn an Assault weapon, you need to raid one of six Tumerok training grounds located near Dryreach.  Which camp you need to visit depends on which weapon you want.  Please refer to the chart at the bottom of this page for further details.  The dungeons are called Falcon Camp (2N, 75E), Serpent Camp (1S 70E), Shreth Camp (5S 68E), Reedshark Camp (13S 68E), Gromnie Camp (16S 70E), and Mask Camp (16S 75E).  Inside are a vast number of Tumeroks - Standard Bearers through Controllers.  In order to get your weapon, you will need to kill enough Standard Bearers to find a Banner, Controllers for their crests, and either Lieutenants or Majors for their Hafts.  There are also Symbols and Spearheads from Commanders.  Don't bother with these - they won't help you.  The drops aren't very common, but fortunately, there are tons of Tumeroks, so you shouldn't be in there too long anyway.

After you have crafted your Banner with Crest, it's time to visit one of the Capital Cities - Zaikhal, Cragstone, or Hebian-To.  Turn in your Banner with Crest to either Lieutenant Kenneth (25.8N, 49.1E ), Shosa Kiroji Matanui (39.0S. 83.2E), or Ufet, Prophet of Blades (13.9N, 0.7E).  He will give you your weapon!

New in the December 2009 patch are upgrade kits to radically improve these weapons.  These kits can only be purchased from the Mhoire smith, Paradox Valley collector, and Colosseum vendor for those particular currencies, so these upgrades do not come cheap.  The weapons have received serious damage and modifier improvements, as well as adding a resistance rending property.  Details are still a bit sketchy (as not many people have bought the upgrade yet...), so stay tuned.
