Banderling Resettlement

One of the most important things about picking a property is making sure the land isn't infested with Banderlings.  Cyphis Suldow really should have investigated more before he decided to build his resort.

Step 1:  Location, Location, Location.  Begin by heading to Stonehold and finding Cyphis Suldow at 68.8N, 21.6W.  He will ask for help in clearing some Banderlings from a location he has chosen for a Resort.  It's located pretty far to the east of Stonehold at 72.8N, 6.8W, but you can cut your trip down by taking the Dire's Door portal at 69.6N, 20.2W.  Buff up - Lightning and Slash/Pierce weapons and protect/bane pretty much everything.  Inside you'll be fighting Banderlings and Elemental Gromnies.  Once you arrive at the Banderling Village, you will find several Gromnies and Banderlings.  Kill the Spirit Dancer and check his corpse.  On it is a Crude Carving.  When you have killed everything, give the Carving to the large statue and it will summon a portal.

Step 2:  Banderling Shrine.  Your goal in this dungeon is to build a key out of Banderling trophies.  You need to find and kill 3 Banderling Spirit Seekers, each of which drop a piece of the key.  Only people with lockpick trained can build the key, so don't pick up the trophies unless you do have LP trained.  There is one Spirit Seeker on each of the 2 levels of the dungeon, plus one going down the ramp between the two sections.  Once you find all 3 pieces, combine then to form a Banderling Holy Symbol.  Press through the dungeon and down a ramp to the locked door.  Open it and cross a bridge into the final room, where you will find another large Banderling Idol.  Use it and a couple Gromnies and the Banderling Ancient Spirit will spawn. Kill the Spirit and loot an Oily Stone from his corpse.  If you are doing this quest as a group, each person will need a stone.  The Idol has about a five-minute refresh rate.  Once you have your stone, head back to Stonehold.  Give Cyphis the stone and you will receive your experience and his spear.
