Blood Gem of Rikt Zir

Ricardo is a 'Rebel' who appeared in Eastwatch and needs help recovering a powerful Falatacot relic called the Blood Gem of Rikt Zir.  Something isn't quite right with him though...

Step 1:  Preparation.  Head to Eastwatch via Sanamar and greet Ricardo.  He will ask you to recover the gem from the Coral Caves just east of Eastwatch.  Buff up in town.  You'll be fighting Ancient Coral Golems predominantly.  You'll need to buff a bludgeoning weapon and bane against bludgeoning damage.  Protect against Bludge, Acid, and Lightning.  When you are ready, head to the eastern cliff of Eastwatch and jump off the side!  The Coral Caves are located 90.5N 42.5W, just beyond the cliff.

Step 2:  Coral Caves.  As you enter, you will be attacked by a couple Ancient Corals.  Kill them and then look behind you - you will see a passage right behind the portal.  Follow the path and you will make your way down through a series of twisty rooms and then down into a large ramp room.  You will know you are going the right way when the color of the walls change.  Eventually, you will reach a Falatacot-style door with a lever in front of it.  Be careful from now on - you will be facing a large number of Corals from here on.  Shortly past the lever door, you will reach a Y shaped room containing many Ancient Corals and 3 Blood Golems.  You will need to kill all 3 Blood Golems and then loot 3 colored fragments from their corpses.  Blood Golems have very good armor and resistances but low health.  Still, they are very dangerous spellcasters and it will take you a while to take each one down.  When you have all 3 blood gem fragments, leave!  You don't want to stay in the last room longer than you have to.

Step 3:  Rewards.  Return to Eastwatch and combine all 3 fragments into a Blood Gem.  Return it to Ricardo and the deception will come unraveled!  He *was* a rebel, but he has been brainwashed by the Ruschk!  He will give you a pair of Squalid Leggings for your trouble.  This quest seems like another NPC should accept the Blood Gem, but to date, no one has found one.
