Healing Bobo

Difficulty:  Minimum to Survive, 125+ to solo
Level Restriction:  80+
Timer:  13 Days
Can be Solo'd?  Yes
Rewards:  XP, Possible Flagging?

Bobo the Tusker King is sick and some of the Tuskers suspect foul play!  Help Bobo out by figuring out how he is being poisoned and then bring back a cure.

Note that this quest has been revamped since its introduction!  Many of the previous steps are now unnecessary.

Step 1:  Preparation.  In order to do this quest, you will need to do most of the Bobo quest, especially the flagging part.  You won't actually need to kill Mowen, but you will need to make it through the whole dungeon.  Refer to the Bobo quest guide - I'd suggest running through the dungeon if you are planning on doing the quest alone.

Step 2:  King's Crown.  Begin your quest in Oolutanga's Refuge on Aphus Lassel.  Go to the treetop level and find Jilna Fullgood.  She will ask you to recover a special plant called King's Crown, which is the main ingredient in Bobo's medicine.  The only place that grows these plants is the hidden island of Xi Ru, the last of the Vesayan Islands.  You can get to Xi Ru's island in two ways - you can either go through Nuhmudira's portal on Ithaenc Island or you can get the Ghost in Ayan Baqar to teleport you.  If you choose Numy's portal, you will need to be flagged first.  Either way, you will arrive on Xi Ru's island somewhat near a huge waterfall.  Head west along the beach and you will eventually come to an area overrun with Moarsmen.  Head inland and work your way up the hill.  Keep heading up and you will eventually reach the summit of the mountain, where you should be able to see a huge tree in a pool of water.  The King's Crown plants grow in this pool.  Grab one and head back to Aphus Lassel.  Hand it to Jilna and she will prepare the medicine for you.

Step 3:  Down the Hatch.  Now you need to take the medicine to Bobo.  Beware!  The medicine will be destroyed if you die, so don't die.  Follow the instructions for the Bobo quest to navigate the appropriate dungeons.  When you reach Bobo, hand him the medicine - don't talk to him or you will go fight Mowen Udaun, the Tusker Champion.

Step 4:  Rewards.  Bobo will grant you a big chunk of XP for the medicine.  The first time you do the quest, you will earn somewhere around 10% of your level, uncapped.  Given Turbine's current trend of reducing the XP reward on subsequent trips, it's more than possible that you will get less than that amount your second time, but I have yet to confirm that.
