The Bracelet of Dark Essence is one of the three relics Nuhmudira used to attack the mind of the Ancient Olthoi Queen.  This particular relic is housed in one of Aerbax's storehouses and is guarded by corrupted Shadows, Virindi, and Tuskers.

Step 1:  The Run.  Aerbax's Holding used to be located on Singularity Caul, but when that island was changed, the Holding was moved to a 'safer' location - near the heart of the Obsidian Plains, at 62.4S, 71.1W.  The closest dungeons are Singularity Bore and OP Black Spawn Den, although I suggest running from OP BSD as it is slightly safer.  The run itself is long and dangerous!  Buff up before you head out - all protects and all banes (physicals if you have excellent melee d).  At one point running from BSD, you will cross a large crack in the plains that leads to the heart of the plains.  You will have to make your way northwest to find a path back up on top of the plains.  Immediately enter the portal when you arrive.

Step 2:  Aerbax's Holding.  The Holding itself is fairly small, but it's a deadly place to be sure.  The spawns are fast and dense and there are many mage-only Virindi Profatrixes inside.  Before you head in, give yourself some time for your debuffs to drop off.  When you are ready, open the door ahead of you and follow either of the paths until you come to a door.  Open it and kill the spawn inside.  Now open the south door and head to another door.  You will come to a T intersection - take a right (heading west).  You will head down a ramp and then come to another ramp leading up into a larger room.  This room is very nasty - there are lots of Shadows and Virindi and the spawn is very fast.  Imperil from below, then send in everyone - Mages on the Virindi, Melees and Missiles on the Shadows.  The second everything dies, head up a ramp on the south wall into another dense spawn, mostly Executors and Profatrixes.  Mages need to work very hard and fast in this corridor!  As soon as everything is down, you will come to a Y intersection - take either path and punch through whatever is left of the spawn, continuing west.  You will find yourself in a large room with a smaller room in the middle.  Inside the smaller room is a 'Magically Sealed Dais'.  Everyone should use the Dais as quickly as possible to receive the Bracelet.  As soon as everyone has their bracelets, portal out.  This quest is fairly short, but it can be very deadly!

Step 3:  Rewards.  The only reward from this quest is the Bracelet of Dark Essence.  It's really quite an item - a dual major that anyone can use, with or without arcane lore.
