Aerbax has invaded the dreams of Queen Elysa!  He is trying to undermine her strengths to create a world where she couldn't kill the Olthoi Queen and liberate us from Olthoi rule.  Relive Elysa's finest moments and help regain her strength.

Step 1:  Preparation.  Assuming you've followed the steps in the Quiddity Seed quest guide, you should be pretty much ready to do this quest.  The only thing you really need is a bludgeoning or piercing weapon, as you'll be fighting ethereal Olthoi.  Sadly they really aren't Olthoi, so your Paradox weapon won't work!

Step 2:  Hope.  Elysa's first step is to find the spot where Elysa and Thorsten Cragstone first met, which is in the northern Amun desert near Mt. Zabool.  Head to approximately 22N 19E, which will be just north of Mt. Zabool.  Now you need to find what looks like a transparent Singularity Trove.  It's just north of the mountain, so use [ and ] to look for it.  When you find it, don't use it yet!  Make sure you are buffed, because you will be greeted by nasty Olthoi.  When you are properly buffed, use it and watch the scene.  Elysa and Cragstone meet, he saves her from the Olthoi, and it's all very romantic I suppose.  The only problem is Aerbax has made the Olthoi particularly nasty and interested just as much in killing you as killing Elysa!  Kill all the bugs and gems will appear on the ground after several seconds.  Grab Elysa's Hope and recall Subway.

Step 3:  Resolve.  Elysa and Cragstone eventually found a safe haven in the Underground City on the Isle of Tears, so that's your next stop.  I really don't know my way around the Underground City, but fortunately the device you are looking for in here is near the drop.  Find the first door on the south wall and go in.  Now go west and up a ramp until you find a ledge.  Jump down and open the door to the south.  Inside should be another Virindi Device.  Use it and another scene will begin.  No monsters this time, except for the local Mosswarts.  This scene is where Elysa discovers the whereabouts of Asheron's tower and decides to go plead for his help.  When the scene ends, gems of Elysa's Resolve will spawn on the floor.

Step 4:  Courage.  Now head back to Asheron's castle via Eastham.  Don't go in - look just to the left of the castle gates for another device and use it.  No monsters at all this time!  This scene is where Elysa finds her way into Asheron's Sanctum and he gives her the poison to slay the Olthoi Queen.  When the scene ends, gems of Elysa's Courage will spawn.  *NOTE!*  Elysa and Cragstone will disappear for almost a minute during this scene.  It is possible for them not to reappear, which prevents the scene from concluding.  I would recommend you stay close to the gate throughout the scene until the gems appear on the ground.

Step 5:  Determination.  Recall Subway and go back to the Underground City.  Now you get to navigate this mess - lucky you!  You need to make it to the TOP of Cragstone's tomb.  If you have a very high jump skill (Tusker Leap would be helpful!), you can follow the blue route on the map.  If your jump isn't so hot, you're going to have to go the hard way.  Find the first door on the south again and this time, go east and up the staircase.  Make your way up, follow the only path available, and then go back down.  Now you will need to go east one room, north one room, and then east again.  Look for the staircase up on to the north and go up it.  Now hug the left wall and you should be home free.  The Virindi device is right on top of Cragstone's Tomb chamber.  Use it and watch the scene (again, no monsters).  You will see Elysa and Cragstone rally their troops to make a final assault on the Olthoi Queen.  When it ends, grab an Elysa's Determination gem.  At this point, you should combine all four gems and they will fuse to form an arrow.

Step 6:  Black Death.  Elysa's culminating moment was when she slayed the Olthoi Queen deep in the Black Death Catacombs.  Head back there to break Aerbax's grip on Elysa.  The best way to get to BDC is by using the Olthoi Lands portal device, which will eventually drop you just outside BDC.  If you don't have access to that portal device, you'll have to run to 60N 71.2E in the Olthoi North.  Rebuff at the drop point when you arrive if necessary.  Now run straight down the corridor.  Once you reach the bottom, head south, ignoring the bugs and the ramps leading down.  You are looking for a ramp on the southernmost wall.  You'll see lots of Paradox Olthoi, which you should probably kill.  Behind the portal into the Deeper Catacombs (part of the Paradox Queen quest) is the Quiddity Seed.  Use it to enter Elysa's nightmare.

Step 7:  Accession.  You will find yourself in a shadowy dungeon that's verging on unnavigable.  If you have the decal utility Minimap, you'll have no trouble.  If not, there's good news though - despite the fact that you'll have no clue where the walls are, the dungeon's layout is still the same as BDC.  Look at the map - you will drop by a ledge in the upper right section of the map labeled LVL 0.  It's the tall rectangular section with the two dots in it and one exit to the NW.  Your goal is to make it back to the point where the Quiddity Seed was - the small chamber labeled LVL -1.  The dungeon has Virindi and more ethereal Olthoi, but shouldn't pose too much of a threat to you.  When you reach Elysa, hand her your arrow and a final scene will begin.  Cragstone will die, Elysa will get very mad, and the Olthoi Queen will die.  Grab the Queen's head from the ground and you will be done.  If you are doing this quest with a group, make sure everyone goes one at a time and is very sure that the previous scene has ended before the next person hands in his arrow.  Otherwise, it's very likely that Elysa will eat the arrow and that person will not get his reward.  When you are done, head back to Asheron.

Step 8:  Rewards.  Give Asheron the Queen's Head and he will reward you with the Empowered Bracers of the Perfect Light, XP capped at 81M, a quiddity ingot (whose use is still unknown), and the title Warrior of the Past.
