The Energy Crystal is a Virindi Artifact used by Nuhmudira to attack the Ancient Olthoi Queen's mind.  These items were originally available as trophies from Virindi Grand Inquisitors and were housing items when houses first become available.  The old ones were blue, but these Crystals are purple and have different spells.

Step 1 (and only):  Gerent's Compound.  Gerent's Compound is located on the South Landbridge.  The fastest way to get there is to use the Lesser Direlands portal device until you arrive on the South Landbridge.  That particular drop is safe, but you could end up at a hot drop outside the Renegade Fortress, so buff up before using the device.  You will be fighting Virindi, Shadows, and Hollows, so protect against all damage types.  When you are set, run to 87.3S, 17.5W.  The dungeon itself is fairly small, but the spawns are dense and there are a lot of Mage-Only Virindi Profatrixes.  Head south from the drop and you will come to a series of T intersections, where you will turn left, continue south, then turn right.  You will make your way down a ramp and then back up another.  From this point on, the dungeon is linear.  Fight through the spawns and you will eventually reach the Representative of the Singularity.  Greet him and you will receive your Energy Crystal.
