Empyrean Fire Propylaeum

30 Days, but the writ rewards are one time only

Rewards:  Bracelets of
Fire, a Writ, and 250,000 Experience

Step 1:  Entry.  Gather your team and head to 73.5N, 2.7W.  The trip is long from pretty much everywhere, sadly.  The closest tieable portal is Caulnalain Vestibule.  Refer to my guide to learn how to easily tie the exit.  Alternatively, you can tie the Anadil settlement out of Crater.  You should buff at the portal, as the run is a little dangerous.  Protect and bane against physical damage, fire, and acid.  Bludgeon will work well in here, but you may want to buff a frost weapon too.  When you are ready, head to the dungeon.  The layout of the entry section is identical to the other Propylaeums.  Take the time to divide up your group too.  One team will get the Bracelet first while the other gets the Prism.  Of course, you can do the quest twice so that everyone gets both rewards.  When you are ready, head into the dungeon.  The first section is very linear, so you really can't get lost.  When you come to a pit, jump down facing west and run as soon as you hit the bottom, as there is an acid pit at the base of the hole.  At the bottom are two paths - one heading west and one heading south.  Take your team down the west path to a chest.  Everyone should pick up a hammer inside, so line up and be patient.  When everyone has their hammer, head back to the acid pit room and take the south path.  At the end is a large room with two portals.  The Lower portal leads to the Prism and the Upper portal leads to the Bracelet, so make sure each team knows where to go.

Step 2:  Upper Propylaeum.  *Note - All sections of this quest are on the same map.  Also, make sure the leaders of both teams are in close contact, as you will be opening doors for each other.  Lastly, no matter how well you know the dungeon, you might be wise to print out a copy of the map to make sure you don't miss a step.*

In this dungeon, the Lower team has the first lever, so head east and have the melees kill through the lever door while you wait for it to open.  When it does open, move into the large room and head to the east wall.  Take the passageway there and bear right at the Y to the first lever on your side.  Hit it, make sure the other group makes it through the door, and then head back into the large room.  Head south and you will reach your next lever door.  When it opens, move through and take a left at the four-way intersection, which will lead you to another lever door.  Wait for it to open, then move into another large room.  Leave your group there momentarily and take the north passage to your second lever.  When the other team is through, head back to your team and head west.  You will go up a spiral staircase and into another large room, where you will find the third lever.  This lever controls the door in the fire pit, so coordinate carefully with the other team.  When they are through, head south and up another ramp to a ledge looking into a room with a grate and a large spinning crystal.  Do a full power jump aiming at the crystal (SE) to land on the grate.  Now jump southwest to a second grate where you will find the last lever.  Hit it and then jump to the east, across another hole in the grate.  Take the passageway and you will end up in a small room with two chests.  One contains the Incalescent Bracelet.  If this is your team's first run through, have them take the surface portal so you can go through again.  The other team might require you to throw the last lever again, so don't leave until everyone but you has reached the surface portal.

Step 3:  Lower Propylaeum.  From the drop, take the only passage out of the first room and turn right at the first intersection, where you will find the first lever.  Hit it and then take the other passage from the first intersection, leading you to the first four-way intersection in this dungeon.  The south path leads to a lever door.  Leave the bulk of your group here, but take one person with you to bug the door, just in case.  You should run in and hit the lever.  When the other team is clear, rejoin your group at the intersection and head north.  Take your first left to another lever.  Hit it, return to the main path, and take the next left you see.  You will arrive at your second lever door.  When it opens, move into a large room and take the exit on the north wall (to your right).  Follow this path, ignoring the small spurs and a door to your left, until  you reach another lever door directly in your way.  When it opens, head through the large room and take the only exit, which will lead you to the pit.  Carefully adjust your camera angle from atop the pit to make sure the door opens when the other team says it does.  If it is open, jump down and get through the door as soon as possible.  Follow the path and turn left at the next intersection.  Be careful not to let your team get ahead of you, as the next small rectangular room you see will have 3 traps in it, including a dispel trap.  You will likely hit the mana blight trap at the front of the room, but you can tap jump over the other traps if you are careful.  Continue along the path to a large room with four exits.  The north exit is blocked by your last lever door, so move inside as soon as it opens.  You will now be in the final room, which has the Fire Prism.  Move to the north side of the inner wall to find the doorway to the prism, but be careful, as there is a dispel trap in the doorway.  Tap jump over it and you will find the prism.  Line up and use your Hammers on the prism one at a time to avoid accidents.  When everyone has their prism, you can leave.  If you are doing the quest again, take the surface portal in the previous large room.  The Upper team may have to hit the last lever again.
