Marae Lassel is home to bigger foes than those who dwell on the surface.  It is only through the efforts of the Aun Tumeroks that the Olthoi do not retake the surface.  Facing the Olthoi Queen of Marae Lassel is a daunting task and takes hours of preparation.  Your assault team should not consist of more than one fellow, as anyone not in your fellow will not receive a reward.  Your first task is to build 5 Pyreal Bells.

Step 1 - East Fork Hive.  The first dungeon you will need to explore is the East Fork Hive, located at 48.5N, 76.4W, inside of a small structure.  This dungeon has mostly Olthoi, but you will also encounter Wisps and Diamond Golems.  Bane against Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Acid and protect against everything.  You will enter the dungeon atop a waterfall.  There are a couple Wisps both atop and below the waterfall.  Jump down into the waterfall - you will take damage from the water, so move out of the water as fast as you can.  Head right as soon as you land and you will find a small entryway leading up.  There is also a Vapor Golem here - ignore him.  Once you are out of the water, you will find a small room with two Diamond Golems behind a door.  Kill the Diamonds and you will notice a lever.  This lever opens a door deep within the dungeon, so you will have to be very fast to make it the whole way to this door before it closes.  I'd suggest running to this door at least once so you know the way before trying it.  When you are ready, hit the lever, turn left after leaving the Lever Room, and head into the Olthoi Section.  Run down, down, down!  There are many ramps, all leading toward a large acid pit.  Once you enter the pit, hug the left wall and you will come to a locked Olthoi door.  Pick it as fast as you can, as you will still be in the Acid taking damage!  Head up the ramp and you will come to the lever door, hopefully still opened.  Get past it as soon as possible and turn left.  There are some Olthoi, Diamond Golems, and Wisps, including a locked chest where the bell piece is located.  Pick the chest and take the bell piece.  You will need 5 bells to complete the quest, so make sure you get at least 5 pieces.  Once you have your pieces, follow the left wall to a ramp leading up to an exit portal.  If you are looking for an adventure, there is a deep pit in a side room just past the levered door.  Jump down and you'll find a load of Undead and a Yalaini tomb.

Step 2 - North Fork Hive.  This dungeon is located at 51.4N, 76.0W and has the second part of your bells and will take you a whole lot less time than the East Fork Hive.  Again, you will arrive atop a waterfall.  Jump down and head left this time.  There will be a path up just like in the East Fork.  Ignore the small room to your right and turn left.  Pick the locked door ahead of you and continue upwards.  You will wind around and eventually run into 4 Lightning Elementals.  Run past them - NOT through them - pick another locked door and close it behind you.  You are quite safe in here, so you can loot the Bell Pieces without interference.  This chest is very hard to pick, so be sure to weaken it.  Get at least 5 Pyreal Maces (the clapper for your bell) and then recall out.

Step 3 - The West Fork.  The last piece of your bell is located overland, so you won't have to worry about crawling through a dungeon.  Head to the West Fork of the river and find the structure located at 48.3N, 80.5W.  Kill the Olthoi inside the building and then start using the chest, which of course is locked.  Get your 5 bell pieces and then start building your bells.  You are now ready with the preparation.

Step 4 - Annoy the Aun.  When you are ready to kill the Queen, gather a team of 5 alternate characters of those people on your quest.  Each of these characters will be responsible for dropping off a single Bell to one of the Aun Drummers on the Plateau.  Beware though!  Turning in a bell will ban you from the Aun town of Timaru for 3 weeks.  Take your team to the drop point on the Plateau and have each person take one bell and run to:

Bell 1 - 53.0N, 73.3W
Bell 2 - 49.2N, 74.6W
Bell 3 - 46.5N, 75.8W
Bell 4 - 44.7N, 80.9W
Bell 5 - 50.1N, 80.4W

The first Drummer should be at the first coordinates when you start.  If he isn't, someone is already running the quest or has just finished.  There is also a 15 minute wait between dropping each bell, so this quest will take at least an hour and 45 minutes to complete.  Once you have dropped all 5 bells, there will be a 30-minute delay before the Queen appears deep in her lair.  When you drop Bell 4, assemble your team on the Plateau and run to the Mount Elyrii Hive at 48.5N, 81.7W.  Wait outside the dungeon - there are annoying Wisps inside who will hamper your buffing efforts.  As soon as Bell 5 drops, buff up - Full protects, but bane all physicals and acid.

Step 5 - Get Sprayed and Enter the Queen's Lair.  Before you can enter the Queen's lair, you need to be sprayed by a special Eviscerator.  These guys live in each of the 4 Hives related to the Queen quest, but the Mount Elyrii Hive is the easiest.   You will need to leave your team for a while while you hit levers.  Drop your team off at a levered door down the NW passage from the main room.  Now take the SW passage.  There's no real point in fighting anything while hitting levers, so just run past everything as best you can.  Head down the SW passage and jump down into a pit.  Head east into a room with two magma pits in the middle.  There is a pressure plate in the NW of the room, surrounded by small blue-glowing objects.  Hit the plate, have your team leave one character behind to bug the door, and have them move on to the next room.  You should use the exit portal you passed heading into the Magma room.  Reenter the Hive and go down the SE passage.  Again, jump down into a pit and head north.  Round a bend and you will find another blue-glowing pressure plate.  Hit it and run back into the pit, take the ramp upwards and don't stop going up until you reach a ledge.  Jump across and head back up into the main room.  Now go back down the NW passage to rejoin your group.  Keep going down until you and your group enter a large room.  Kill the Olthoi now!  Everyone in your group will need to be sprayed.  When you kill a Spraying Eviscerator (indistinguishable from a regular Eviscerator), you will receive a long green message so you know you've been sprayed.  Stop killing once you're sprayed.  When your entire team has been sprayed, it's time to head back up.  There are two pressure plates along the way - one marked with the same blue glow, one in the middle of the path on the way up.

It's now time to enter the Royal Hive!  This time, take the NE passage and go down a couple ramps until you come to a ledge.  Jump down and find the exit in the northeast part of the room.  Continue going northeast as you enter a large room sloping down.  There is an exit at the very northeast end of the room leading to a portal into the Royal Hive.  Head in!

Step 6 - Off With Her Head!  The Royal Hive is not terribly difficult, but it does have some more pressure plates and levered doors, so you will have to leave your group again.  Go with them up to the top of the very large room you arrive in and lead them down the small opening in the ground.  Turn left at the first T intersection and pick the lock.  Instruct your group to go to the pit ahead of them and jump in.  They should then head north then turn back west to a small exit from the large room they landed in.  There will be a lever door to the left.  Have the group wait there for you.  You will need to leave one person at each door to bug it for you.  Back up top, you will need to press pressure plates located in small rooms at the bottom of ramps.  Door 1 is opened from the north passageway plate, Door 2 by the east plate, and door 3 by the south plate.  Press plate 1, have one person bug the door, and then have your team pass down a ramp into a large-ish room.  There is a second exit on the north wall - take this.  You will quickly encounter the second lever door.  Press the east plate to open it.  Move into another larger room and take the only exit - on the east wall.  This leads to the final lever door.  Use the south pressure plate and then have your plate presser head down into the pit to join up with your group, picking up the door buggers are you go.  When you've reassembled your team past the last lever door, jump down into another large room.  Kill the Olthoi and head to the SE end of the room where there is another ledge.  Down below you is the Queen!  Jump down, take up a position in the NE corner of the room and get ready for the battle.

Before you face the real Queen, instruct your team how to proceed.  You will need 2 healers with Healer's Hearts - one targetting the designated Killer and one healing a Mage assigned to debuff her.  Everyone else should form a wedge protecting your debuffing mage and the Healers.  You'll have time to prepare because there is a false Queen waiting for you.  She is immobile, so have your mages and archers shoot her when you are ready.  When she dies, the true Queen will spawn.  She hits HARD!  No one but your designated killer should attack the true Queen until her health is at 49%.  Your debuffing mage should imperil, pierce and blug vuln, fester, and debuff her strength, magic resistance, missile and melee defense.  As soon as her health goes below half, everyone should open up, except for the healers and debuffer.  She'll go down fast then.  When she dies, the killer needs to loot her head.  She also drops some Olthoi Eggs, good for making exceptional food, and a few Carapaces, which are worth 100k XP and an Olthoi Cuirass, an obsolete piece of armor.  Return the Queen's head to Timaru for your reward - 40 million XP divided among your fellowship!  The killer will also get the Queen's Head, mounted on a plaque, and a title token to become a Queenslayer.
