Tired of the same old, boring housing items?  Have a pest problem in your cottage?  What you really need is a giant predatory plant!

To grow a Monster Plant, you first need to find seeds.  There are three kinds of seeds - yellow, orange, and red - and each appears at random in a different region.  They spawn just like dye plants.  All kinds seem to appear only in forested regions of their specific ranges.  Yellows seem to spawn in the foothills south of Sawato, Oranges spawn east of Plateau Village and south of the inlet, and Reds spawn in the forests of the West Dires.  You can simply run around using the [ and ] keys since they spawn on the ground.  You need to find 5 of a specific type before you can grow your plant.

Once you have your 5 seeds, you need to visit a Plant Lover.  Yellow Seeds go to Sara Sen in Tou Tou (28.3S 95.7E), Oranges go to Drozer in Stonehold (68.9N 21.4W), and Reds go to Dionaea in Ayan Baqur (59.7S 88W).  After you turn in your 5th seed, the Plant Lover will give you a seedling!  You now need to feed it.  It will eat a lot of different meats, but to grow it into its only useable form (the Monster Plant), you need to feed it an Olthoi Egg or a Brown Lump.  You can only get Olthoi Eggs by killing Marae's Otlhoi Queen, so you'll probably want to stick with Brown Lumps, which are fairly high-rate drops on Knaths.  Use the Seedling on its meal and it will grow up!  Return it to the Plant Lover and he will fertilize it.  Now you can use it on a Floor Hook in your home!  Each Fertilized Monster Plant casts a spell that increasees the rate at which you recover your vitals by 25% for 3 hours!  The Pitcher Plant (from yellow seeds) increases Stamina, the Sundew (from Oranges) increases Mana, and the Flytrap (from Reds) increases Health.  The spells do NOT stack with Majors and currently have some slight issues with them.  If you are wearing equipment such as the Bracelet of Dark Essence, you will need to reequip the item after using the Plants or the lesser Plant spell will surpass the more potent spell on the item.  Still, all three plants are very useful items!
