Feladan and the Blight

In mid February, an Elven resarcher appeared in the Elvish quarter of Tazoon, asking for help with a new project.  She sent her researchers into the field to gather as much blighted materials possible to fuel her experiments...

And that's where we come in.  Greet the Imperial Researcher in Kion and you can accept a quest to help the Empire.  You have two choices - the hard one or the easy one.  Both quests require you to gather at least one of each kind of blighted material.  The harder quest requires you to harvest blighted tier II resources and the easy version is for blighted tier I resources.  You don't need to find and harvest the material yourself - you can have a friend do it, or you can simply buy the items from the pawnshop or consigner.  The quest window will let you know exactly what you need, but keep in mind there are more kinds of tier II resources than there are tier I.  Once you have your materials, head back to the researcher and greet her again.  She will accept your materials and grant you a technique!  The technique is called 'toughening' and it grants a bonus of extra armor and health on items created with the technique.

Thanks to the help of many gifted adventurers, the researchers were able to conclude that the blight in Feladan could be removed!  5 unfinished structures called ethereal substantiators appeared in the blighted elven city, ready to accept construction materials.  The Withered Aegis noticed this too, and Feladan has become an even more dangerous place to visit now. 

Soon after, brave crafters and their guardians completed the substantiators.  After each one was done, several blight spectres appeared, ranging in level from 50s to 90+!  After the 5th machines was completed and the spectre was killed, Feladan was freed from the control of the Withered Aegis forever!  Several new structures appeared and all were repaired by skilled crafters!
