The Wishgiver

The Wishgiver is an often overlooked and very simple series of quests.  No matter who you are, the Wishgiver can help you out!

Start out by teleporting to Tazoon West and running due north to the shrine.  You will find the Wishgiver there, on the southern face.  She offers lots of quests, all of which can easily be completed by a level 10-15 player alone.  If you are a crafter or have access to one, you can choose to bring her 40 unrefined dim essence or a pair of bronze platemail gauntlets.  If you prefer adventuring, you can take a quest to kill 10 brown wolves.  You could also choose to run some errands for her or do the test of patience (where you wait 3 hours and then head back).  If you want to get all the Wishgiver's rewards, it will be easiest if you do the essence or gauntlet tasks.

Once you complete a task, you must choose your reward!  There are 8 options:  6 special abilities, a random beginner formula, or a magic item.  The abilities are self-targeted and increase your armor, health, strength, dexterity, power, or focus by 10 points for half an hour, with a 5 minute cooldown.  Personally, I tie these in with my enhance spells, since they have a similar duration.  10 points may seem insignificant, but every little bit can help.  Both the other two rewards are random.  If you choose the formula, you will get anything - regardless of whether you can use it or not.  If you choose a magic item, you will get one of at least 3 different items - special boxer shorts with a delightful heart pattern, a Fearsome Hauberk of the Quester, or (the really useful item) Tarbash's Bag of Surprises.  This is a sack that adds 250 to your capacity (as much as the level 25 kenaf sack) AND adds 5 points to your armor.  This item is a must for every crafter, as you won't find anything better until you reach level 45.  Plus, if you are a spellcaster who can't wield a shield, you can use the bag as a pseudo-shield, since it adds a few points of armor to your score.  You can even use the bag to receive a very random item - mostly tier I crafting material from what I can tell.  Should you run out of charges for your bag, you can use tier I recharge cells to refuel it.  It's quite stylish too!
