Equipment
Heading into the wild without the proper equipment can be a costly or even fatal mistake! Each item has its own requirements to wield - most items require you to be a specific class (or even race), be a certain level, and have a certain amount of base skill. If you don't meet all the requirements, you won't be able to use the item!
A brief word about tiers. Each item (with a few exceptions) can be made out of 4 different materials. The simplest version of the item is made from sandstone, bronze, flax, or cedar. Subsequent versions are made from more advanced materials like iron, granite, or maple. An item of the next higher tier adds 20 levels and 200 points of skill to the wield requirements of the item. For instance, a simple bronze dagger has wield requirements of 1 level and 1 one-hand pierce. The next tier, an iron dagger, requires 20 levels and 200 one-hand pierce. Many items have an 'improved' version within the same tier, such as 'Improved Flame Bolt' or 'Fine Dagger', but bear in mind these 'improved' items require a seperate formula to create and that not every item has a corresponding 'improved' version.
Here are lists of what items are available for use! The wield stats listed are for the tier I version, so add 20 levels and 200 points of skill for each tier. Damage stats for weapons and protection stats for armor are incomplete for now...
